Winter is all but over in the northern hemisphere so if you need your fix perhaps this is the year to make it to Chile. Like Warren Miller said, "if you don't do it this year, you'll only be one year older when you do..."

At the risk of having my membership privileges yanked, I present one of the craziest edits I've ever seen....period.

If you think triple corks are cooler than this, you should probably just stick to figure skating Jean-Claude. And if this is indeed a re-post, do you really care?

We are hitting the offseason of content and you have probably noticed the downturn. Not to worry, we have some big things happening in the background. Expect a few interviews through the summer and then a few bigger articles as the fresh snow nears. In the meantime here are some pieces from the internets to keep the brain clicking. The 3D printed gun debate is one of the more intriguing and frightening debates going. Buried in this Vice piece is a quote from Nick Bilton stating that 3D printers may be common place in households within 10 years. Does this mean your base plate could come from a file and not a store? Weird to think how much things could change.

Meet the career con man who made a fortune selling illegal pharmaceuticals online—and pulled off a federal sting that forced Google to pay $500 million.

On February 25, 2009, a then 34-year-old career con man named David Anthony Whitaker left the Wyatt Detention Facility in Central Falls, Rhode Island, and slid into the backseat of an unmarked government car. He was dressed in traditional prison garb—khaki pants, brown shirt, handcuffs, leg irons. A federal agent sat beside him. A second car followed to make sure nobody trailed them or attempted an ambush. Not that anyone expected trouble. This was merely standard procedure when transporting a government cooperator.

That’s what Whitaker was now: a cooperator. It felt surreal. One year ago he was in Mexico, living the most fulfilling life he’d ever known in his chaotic, troubled years on the planet. He had been bringing in obscene amounts of money by selling black-market steroids and human growth hormone online. He...

Back when I could actually ride, I was big into "over-tweaking" grabs. My friend Brent pointed out, in his angry way, that there is no such thing as an over-tweak. Well if there was such a thing, this would be it. SICK

The Jesse Huffman Interview

PHOTOS: Shem Roose
When John and I were first contemplating doing interviews, Jesse Huffman was one of the first people we reached out to. Unfortunately, due to many reasons, mostly my own laziness, that interview never made it to the site. As we ramped up the interviews, I was eager to revisit our discussion.

In the world of snowboarding, Jesse represents a rare individual. Much like David Benedek, Jesse has seen success both as a rider and as a content creator. Since leaving the pro ranks, he has made a name as one of the top journalists covering the industry, contributing to the New York Times and ESPN. What has set him apart from the typical snowboard media is a constant drive to show snowboarding in a light contrary to that of the mainstream competitive circus. Beyond that, I, as a Vermonter, was very interested in his early days riding and the infamous Original Sin crew.

So here it is, only 3 years late, the Jesse Huffman interview.
